Acceptance of Terms
By engaging Dallas Roof Master for roofing services in Dallas, TX, you agree to these terms. They form the contract between you and us, the roofing contractor Dallas TX homeowners rely on for quality workmanship. Please read them carefully before signing our estimate.
Service Description
We provide residential and commercial roofing services, including roof repair, roof replacement, and storm damage restoration. Our work covers tear-off, recover, and overlay options, using materials like asphalt shingles, metal roofing, and flat roofing systems. We also handle gutter installation and insurance claims assistance. Every job is performed with ring-shank nails, self-adhered underlayment, and proper starter course and field course installation, with staggered courses for optimal water shedding.
Estimates and Pricing
Our estimates are free and detailed. We inspect your roof, measure the square footage, and evaluate the substrate condition. Pricing reflects material costs, labor, and any necessary decking repairs. We do not charge for estimates, and our quotes are valid for 30 days. If you notice granule loss, rot, or decay during our inspection, we will explain the implications and recommend the best course of action.
Warranty
We stand behind our workmanship with a warranty that covers defects in installation for a period specified in your contract. Manufacturer warranties for materials also apply. We will repair or replace any component that fails due to our workmanship, provided the failure is not caused by neglect, storm damage, or unauthorized modifications. Our warranty is transferable once within the first five years.
Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of the work, unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash, check, or credit card. For larger projects, a deposit of 50% may be required before materials are ordered. Final payment is due within 10 days of project completion. If you finance through a third party, you agree to their terms as well.
Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your project within three business days of signing the contract, without penalty. After that, if you cancel before materials are ordered, a cancellation fee of 10% of the contract value applies. If materials have been ordered, you are responsible for their cost. We will not begin work until you confirm the start date.
Liability Limitations
Our liability is limited to the contract value for any claim arising from our services. We are not liable for consequential damages, such as interior water damage, unless caused by our gross negligence. We carry liability insurance and workers' compensation, but we recommend you verify coverage with your own insurance provider. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, including rot, decay, sag, or end-of-life wear, unless we agree in writing to address them.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes will be resolved in Dallas County courts. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect. This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between you and Dallas Roof Master.
